The 5 points decreasing creates a slightly slouchy shape.

The gauge of GLO yarn is 18-20 sts /4”. If you wish to make a bigger hat,
you could knit this pattern with slightly bigger yarn with the gauge of 18 sts/4”.

Instructions
1.With smaller size needles and CC, CO 100sts.
2.Place Marker and join into the round.
3.Ribbing
(K2, P2)repeat around. Work ribbing 1 .5” or desired length from CO edge.
4.With bigger size needles and MC, work 3 rounds with all K sts.
5.Change to GLO, work 6 rounds with all K sts.
6.Change to MC, work 2 rounds with all K sts.
7.Change to GLO, work 1 round with all K sts.
8.Change to MC, work with all K sts until the hat measures 5 .5” from CO or desired length.
9.Decreasing Rounds
Round1 –( K2tog, K16, SSK) repeat 5times.
Round2 – K all sts.
Round3 –( K2tog, K14, SSK) repeat 5times.
Round4 – K all sts.
Round5 –( K2tog, K12, SSK) repeat 5times.
Round6 – K all sts.
Round7 –( K2tog, K10, SSK) repeat 5times.
Round8 – K all sts.
Round9 –( K2tog, K8, SSK) repeat 5times.
Round10 – K all sts.
Round11 –( K2tog, K6, SSK) repeat 5times.
Round12 – K all sts.
Round13 –( K2tog, K4, SSK) repeat 5times.
Round14 – K all sts.

10.Finishing
Break yarn with 6” tail and draw through all the rem sts twice around. Pull firmly and fasten off.
Weave in all loose ends. Block lightly.
