​                                              ‘Beginner’ Private lesson

                                                           Please email here to schedule your ‘Beginner’ private lesson.
 
Knitting     Please choose from either 1-week session or 2-week session. 
 
1-week session (one hour) – ‘Let’s knit Garter stitch fingerless gloves’

• You will learn how to Cast on, Knit in flat, Knit stitch and Bind off.
• Material – Yarn / Malabrigo Metcha 1 skein    (Please purchase before the class and wind into a ball.)          

                             Needles / US 9, short straight needles 
                                               or 24” long circular needles.

• The fingerless gloves pattern is included in the private lesson fee.

 

2-week session (one hour x 2) – ‘Let’s knit a cozy cowl’

• You will learn how to Cast on, Knit in the round, Knit stitch, Purl stitch and Bind off.
• Material – Yarn / Malabrigo Metcha 1 skein

                  (Please purchase before the class and wind into a ball.)
                             Needles / US 10, 16” long circular needles. 

• The cowl pattern is included in the private lesson fee

Crochet  

Complete beginner (one hour) 

• You will learn basic crochet stitches – Chain st, Single crochet, Half double crochet and Double crochet.
• Material - Practice yarn will be provided. Please bring 4.5mm hook 
• Printed instructions are included in the private lesson fee.

​First Granny Square (one hour)

• You will learn to make a granny square. – You need to know how to crochet some basic sts (Chain st & Single crochet or Double crochet)

• Material – Heavy worsted weight yarn Either single color or 4 different colors.

                             Hook / 4.5 mm

• Printed instructions are included in the private lesson fee.
